Chiropractic is the branch of alternative medicine that specializes in the focus in diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the spine and extremities. Manual therapy called chiropractic adjustment is when the trained doctor of chiropractic uses his or her hands to manipulate regions of the neck, back, or extremities.
Ultrasound Therapy/EMS Therapy
Ultrasound is a noninvasive technique that uses sound waves to help treat chronic pain and to promote tissue healing. It helps to increase blood circulation to the area.
Doctors, therapists, and assistants use it for things like plantar fascitis, frozen shoulder, golfer or tennis elbow, ligament or tendon issues, and joint tightness and inflammation. Sessions will normally take 15-20 minutes. EMS technique is a physical therapy option that uses electrical currents through pads placed on the body that stimulate the muscles to contract & relax. This improves blood flow and decreases inflammation.
Cupping uses a vacuum force to pull the tissue up into the cup. Cupping increases blood flow, reduces tension, and helps with pain and tension. Cupping can leave circular bruises due to the nature of the technique. Please let us know if you are pregnant, are sick or plan on traveling.
Chiropractic Adjustments, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture & More
Decompression is a non-surgical technique that helps alleviate back pain by gently stretching the spine. The table uses a mechanical traction that increases the spine between the vertebrae of the cervical ( neck) or lumber (low back) regions. This works very well for herniated, pinched, or bulged discs resulting in pain, radiation, or inflammation. Sessions usually take 15-20 minutes.
